If you have and questions or came upon some nice guitars, please do ask/tell!
Like I often do, I just type “… guitar” into Google image search. This time, I found this:

Found here. Ain’t she pretty?
First non-guitar related project well underway. Here’s a hint: Laminated plywood and bottle-caps.
Back home over Easter, I’ve started the first new project in the pipeline: The Motor-X!

The name will make sense, soon.
Fusing characteristics of a Les Paul and Telecaster is nothing new, it has been done before, but this one is made of more character and grit. Behold, the Fano Alt de Facto SP6:

I was actually looking for rotary switches and found this…

Ever in the search for new Ideas, I decided to couple some of the Stratotone vibe with the LP Junior Vibe and throw in some other elements and behold, a mockup picture was born:

The actual guitar pictured is a Agile 2300 with some photo-chopped additions/modifications:
F-Hole (thinline semiacoustic!), armrest (as seen on the Duesenberg 52 Senior), a single P90 like stacked Humbucker in the neck-position with a coiltap switch (again as seen on Duesenbergs but executed in a fashion like the variotone switch on B.B. King’s Lucille), 64,7 cm scale (Fender scale), wrap-around bridge.
Not pictured: Simple dot inlays in a bound rosewood fretboard as well as full body binding. The output jack would be recessed into the side of the body as it is done on good Telecasters.
So, I take submissions for a name for this model. Preferably Irish/Gaelic names that sound great.
[Fugazi - Waiting Room]
Just so that every one knows, this is the ONLY Fugazi song ever made. It was released as a one-sided single and then the band all died in a plane crash shortly thereafter.
Dirty Lies. great song though
Serious groove is serious.
The first Zigarrocaster, finished in late September, 2010.
